competitive programs

The USASF has created 3 different All-star divisions for the 2026-2027 season. Below are details on each division. We are very excited about these changes and are confident they will allow every child to have a place to thrive and further their love of the sport.


FULL SEASON ELITE

Offers USASF Level 1-6. For athletes that have competed prep, mastered their fundamentals, and have mastered elite level skills.

FULL SEASON PREP

For athletes that have competed novice and are ready to expand on the fundamentals of cheerleading; experience and skill level are necessary.

FULL SEASON NOVICE

Introduces children to the fundamentals of cheerleading; no experience necessary.

SCHOOL SEASON

Offers Novice Level teams. Less time and financial commitment than full season.

Introduces children to the fundamentals of cheerleading; no experience necessary.

HALF SEASON

Offers Novice & Prep Level teams. Less time and financial commitment than school season and full season.

Introduces children to the fundamentals of cheerleading; no experience necessary.

all star novice

all star prep

all star elite

 Every athlete that attends Team Tryouts will be placed on a Novice, Prep or Elite team for the 2026-2027 season. Athletes interested in a Fundamental team do not need to tryout and will join online through our class program.

all star Novice:

All-star Novice welcomes athletes new to cheer or with some past cheer experience. The program will build a love for All-star, while focusing on skill building and growth in a low-pressure, evaluation-only environment. 
Teams will attend cheer competitions and be evaluated on a rating system only and not scored against other teams. 

All-star Novice is ideal for athletes who: 

  • are ready to transition from Classes or Performance Rec to team performances that are evaluated at events. 

  • are coming to our program with at least some cheer experience, possibly from a rec or youth program. 

all star Prep:

All-star Prep is perfect for the athlete ready to take it to the next level! The program provides an introduction to a competitive environment, which drives excellence in skill building. 
Teams will attend State and National cheer competitions and compete against other teams in their respective divisions. 

All-star Prep is ideal for athletes who: 

  • are ready to transition from All-star Novice to a more competitive team atmosphere with limited tumbling 

  • are coming to our program with cheer experience, possibly from a rec or youth program, or transferring from another All-star program. 

  • are interested in a competitive team with less time and cost commitment than what is required for All-star Elite. 

all star elite:

All-star Elite is the highest performance level that All-star cheer has to offer! These are the traditional levels that have been a part of All-star cheer for years. 
Teams will attend State and National cheer competitions and compete against other teams in their respective divisions. 

All-star Elite is ideal for athletes who: 

  • have learned proper technique, skill progression and habits after transitioning from a Prep, Half Season or Novice team. 

  • have strong cheer training and solid technical ability. 

  • are ready for more rigorous training and competition at a higher caliber
